I really like what read and saw on this product, so I was very excited to receive mine. First of all I got the colour wrong I went a shade too light, not terrible enough that I wanted to return it as I use bronzer so it’s manageable. After a few tries of applying it a different way it just doesn’t work well with my skin, it ends up sitting in my pores so doesn’t blend well at all for me. So unfortunately I’m disappointed with this product.

I got to try the ILIA Skin Rewind Blurring Foundation and Concealer Complexion Stick for free, and I picked shade 6N Aspen. It’s a bit too dark for me right now since it’s winter, but I think it’ll be perfect in the summer when I’ve got my self-tan going. The packaging is awesome—it has this little indent on the side that makes it super easy to hold, open, and close.
The formula is on the drier side and more matte compared to other stick foundations I’ve tried, but it’s not *too* matte where it feels like it’s drying out my skin. I have normal skin and usually go for dewier foundations, but even though this one leans matte, it still lets my natural oils come through during the day, giving me a nice, youthful glow.
Honestly, I really like it, but I think it’s worth mentioning that it’s more of a matte formula than dewy. If you’re into slightly drier foundations that don’t completely flatten your skin, this one’s a great option!

I received The ILIA Skin rewind, blurring foundation, and concealer, complexion, stick, and exchange for my honest review. I like ILIA products, been using them for a couple years now, but I’m not impressed with this foundation/concealer stick. While, I love the presentation, the formula is just a bit too hard to blend if you don’t wear primer first. And although I need full coverage for my skin, I feel that this make up is not a fit for my skin type. I am in my early 40s, I still get acne, I have acne scars, texture issues, and redness. The coverage isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best for aging skin. My biggest complaint, is that after a few hours it’s gone from your skin, but you can still feel the weight.

I recently tried Ilia Skin Rewind Blurring Foundation and Concealer stick in 6N Aspen. Aspen is described as very light with neutral undertones. I thought this was a good color for me. This long-wear complexion stick contains skincare ingredients that firm & smooth skin over time. The medium coverage formula is easy to apply and blurs pores to make the skin look smooth. The Ilia stick has a buildable coverage and a natural-matte finish that says seamless for up to 12 hours. I am 50-years-old with combination skin and I really like this product. It is very quick and easy to apply. I would recommend it. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.
